Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
MLee is seeking a Radiologic Technologist at a well established hospital near Huntsville, Alabama. Under the direction of the Radiology Director and a radiologist, you will operate CT and X-Ray equipment to produce diagnostic images and handle emergency on-call procedures as needed. Your role will also involve managing patient comfort and pain levels during imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • The Radiologic Technologist performs CT and X-Ray imaging of designated body parts.
  • The Radiologic Technologist operates equipment with independent judgment and technical expertise.
  • The Radiologic Technologist manages patient comfort and pain during procedures.
  • The Radiologic Technologist assists with emergency on-call procedures as required.
Requirements:
  • Education/Licensure: Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technologist training program; ARRT registry eligibility required. CT registry preferred.
  • Experience: No prior experience required, but preferred.
  • Skills: BLS certification required before the end of orientation. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
