RevOps Director

Citian

Washington, DC

Full-time

Re-posted 16 days ago

Job description

Citian is a fast growing, venture backed SaaS technology company based in Washington, DC. Our software solutions revolutionize how our transportation and infrastructure systems – roads, rail, transit, bicycle, pedestrian – operate.

Our tech solutions:

  • Reduce traffic fatalities
  • Enhance pedestrian accessibility
  • Empower system operators to save time & money

You'll work with some of the brightest minds in the software and transportation industries. Our engineers and data scientists apply the latest in emerging tech, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning to build smarter, more advanced tools for our diverse client base. We work with clients across the United States, with global ambitions in the years ahead.

Who You Are:

As a Revenue Operations Director, you will own the mid-funnel operating model and serve as the primary RevOps partner to Sales, Finance, Customer Success, and Marketplace teams. You'll take ownership of territory planning and governance, ensuring reps are working the right books with accurate segmentation and clean ownership transitions. You'll drive process clarity, pipeline health, forecasting hygiene, and cross-functional governance that make the middle of the funnel predictable, well-documented, and scalable. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking shaping definitions, operating rhythms, coverage models, and territory design — building process documentation, driving adoption, and resolving cross-functional friction with minimal oversight.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 10+ total years of professional experience along with 5+ years of revenue operations including exposure to pipeline management, forecasting, and territory planning
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (experience as an administrator is a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with territory design including segmentation logic, account scoring, ownership routing, and managing transitions at scale
  • Experience designing and documenting end-to-end sales processes — stage definitions, SLAs, territory rules, and operating cadences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Venture-backed, start-up experience
  • Experience working within GovTech or with Public Sector clients

Your Citian Advantage:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance and generous PTO.
  • 401(k) company match and monthly commuter transportation benefit
  • On-site gym and free snacks in the office
  • High-growth potential and opportunities for advancement within a fast growing, venture-backed SaaS startup!

Let's build smarter cities together! Learn more about Citian here: www.citian.co
