Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead and optimize all aspects of industrial operations for a growing manufacturing and power generation organization. This executive leadership role is responsible for overseeing production, remanufacturing, inventory, purchasing, warehouse, logistics, quality, safety, workforce planning, and continuous improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic leader with extensive industrial manufacturing experience who has successfully managed multiple departments while driving operational excellence and profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals
  • Lead production, warehouse, inventory, purchasing, logistics, quality, and safety departments
  • Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, KPIs, and operational P&L
  • Develop managers and supervisors while promoting accountability and teamwork
  • Ensure customer commitments and production schedules are met
  • Improve inventory management and operational processes
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on business growth initiatives
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in industrial manufacturing, remanufacturing, heavy equipment, oil & gas equipment, or power generation
  • 5+ years managing multiple departments and leadership teams
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L
  • ERP experience required (Acumatica preferred)
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar certifications are a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
