Purpose of the Position/ Role Summary

The Materials Handler I plays a key role in supporting Bimeda's manufacturing operations by ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of materials. This includes receiving, inspecting, storing, and delivering raw materials and finished goods in compliance with cGMP standards and internal procedures.


Key Role Specific Requirements

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials and components per SOPs.
  • Accurately store and maintain inventory in designated areas.
  • Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production and other departments.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA regulations, and Bimeda policies.
  • Report discrepancies or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
  • Support cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, MS&T, QC, and QA.
  • Assist with data entry and administrative tasks related to inventory and logistics.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.


Additional Notes:

  • Working conditions: warehouse and production environments. Exposure to noise, chemicals, and machinery. PPE required in certain areas.
  • Physical demands: Walking, standing, occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds).
  • May require work outside regular hours or weekends.
