Job description

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Materials Handler opportunity in Tustin, CA 92780 with an onsite work schedule. Responsibilities for Materials Handler include but are not limited to:
โ€ข Process received goods through web-based inventory management system and corporate ERP as applicable, perform inventory stocking actions, and issue to build teams as required.
โ€ข Ensure inventory is accurate, direct components are segregated by specific build series, and that policies and procedures are enforced to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations.
โ€ข Assist with loading/unloading of freight and parcel shipments utilizing appropriate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
โ€ข Oversee warehouse stock locations and labeling, making sure goods are correctly stored and reflected in corporate ERP systems.
โ€ข Maintain parcel outbound ship stations with the necessary supplies to support common daily needs of company employees.
โ€ข Pull and issue material to requesting teams with complete accuracy.
โ€ข Inspect all inbound and outbound parcel and freight shipments, to include ensuring packaging and labeling compliance of Dangerous Goods material in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
โ€ข Take ownership of issue resolution on warehouse related questions, concerns, and escalations.
โ€ข Manage and maintain warehouse material handling equipment.
โ€ข Ensure all personnel parcel packages are picked up in a timely manner and area is maintained properly.
โ€ข Complete all other duties and tasks assigned as needed by the company.
Candidates Materials Handler must meet the following requirements to be considered:
1-3 years relevant experience in warehouse operations: shipping, receiving, inventory control, goods receipt, documentation, issue out, escalations/resolutions. High volume, automotive or start-up experience is strongly preferred.
Ability to evaluate current operational processes, highlight gaps, and implement solutions to improve overall operational readiness.
Experience executing operations in a high-velocity environment.
Able to track multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong continuous improvement skills utilizing lean methodologies.
Experience in a common ERP or WMS systems, such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
Forklift drive experiences are a must.
Dangerous Goods handling experience a plus.
High school diploma required. Higher education a plus.
