Position Details:

Transcard offers an internship program in the FinTech industry. Our program is designed to provide you with meaningful projects utilized by the business. You'll see the direct impact of your contribution and get an inside perspective of your desired field while working alongside some of the best in our industry.

We continually strive to identify qualified individuals for post-graduate opportunities beyond the internship program.

This intern position will operate Monday-Friday during standard business hours. This position is a paid internship, compensation will be based on the qualifications of the applicant.

Our goal is to allow you to gain a better understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities within the Marketing department while working toward your professional goals as related to your academic coursework.


Location:

Our corporate office is located in Chattanooga, TN.

We prefer our interns to be onsite in Chattanooga, TN. We do offer remote capabilities for qualified individuals. Candidate must reside in the US. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Marketing internship will start with a one-on-one meeting with the Marketing Lead or your designated personnel to discuss the professional goal of your academic coursework to ensure you meet all academic requirements during the internship. Additionally, the internship will be supervised by our Marketing team to provide routine feedback and status updates. There will be an exit interview with the Marketing Lead and Human Resources for continual improvement of the program. The Marketing internship will provide exposure to a variety of opportunities within our Marketing Department for students seeking hands-on experience in marketing and brand design.

Help execute promotional plans for marketing materials, including sales collateral, pitch decks, event invites, physical collateral for event usage, etc.
Involved with onsite content, including newsletters, company updates, business cards, internal communications, and event-related materials.
Assist team with reservations, quotes, order placing, and scheduling.
Event Assistance: venue setup, invites and announcements, attendee tracking, outreach efforts, asset production, and execution logistics.
Assist team with internal content production.
Gain exposure to custom card and collateral production: Work with the card production team and external partners to help design custom client collateral. Stylize and ensure customer and client facing collateral and documentation represents the Transcard brand and aligns with brand standards. This will include learning the design regulations for card and collateral submissions as outlined by our partners.

Requirements

  Must have great time management, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
Enjoys design execution and refining visual details, and already has foundational design skills.

  A portfolio sample of marketing or digital art is preferred.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as Figma.


Education and/or Certifications:

  Junior or Senior currently working towards (or having completed) a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a similar field.
Preferred coursework/concentration: Marketing, Digital Marketing, International Marketing, Marketing Research, Branding, Visual Storytelling, or Graphic Design.
