Medical Malpractice Attorney


Location: Coral Gables, FL

Job Type: Full-time

Description:
Our client is seeking a Medical Malpractice Attorney with 5-10 years of experience, preferably on the defense side, though candidates with plaintiff-side experience will also be considered. The attorney will work closely with Senior Partner on all medical malpractice cases and must be ready to manage litigation independently from day one.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle medical malpractice cases from inception through resolution.

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents; conduct depositions; attend hearings.

  • Work closely with Senior Partner on case strategy and trial preparation.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to practice in Florida.

  • 5-10 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation.

  • Strong litigation skills and courtroom experience.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.

Preferred:

  • Defense-side medical malpractice experience.

  • Experience with complex or high-stakes cases.
