  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Position Summary:
      • The laboratory team leader is responsible for the overall function of the laboratory in collaboration with the Laboratory Manager. The team leader is responsible for processing specimens and is considered an expert in the area. Provides the mechanism for ensuring accurate test results, issue resolution orientation and ongoing competency of personnel. The team leader acts as the lab resource person for the clinic. Supports the Manager by promoting professional collaboration at all levels. Maintains active communication and strengthens collaborative relationships among the medical providers and other lab staff.

    • Minimum Education
      • Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related field
    • Minimum Experience
      • Required clinical internship in a MT/MLS approved program
    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP)
