Job Description:

Title: Group Medical Director

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, both internal and client, to define strategic medical objectives for brands and ensure pull-through of strategy in all communications and/or tactics
  • Act as a liaison between the agency and key consultants/opinion leaders
  • Spearhead research initiatives
  • Collaborate with Account Services to manage client relationships
  • Ensure all existing and new internal teams are knowledgeable of key data and current events for their brands
  • Work closely with Account and Copy to ensure scientific and therapeutic accuracy in all content
  • Participate in internal team meetings and client meetings, providing clinical knowledge and strategic interpretation of data, as well as tactical recommendations
  • Have up-to-date knowledge of all assigned brands and therapeutic indications, monitoring and understanding the competitive landscape and key studies
  • Present effectively to internal teams and to clients, able to simplify and communicate complex scientific/medical concepts to different audiences
  • Participate in congresses and industry events
  • Participate in preparation of new business pitches, eventually becoming a member of the pitch team, pending opportunity

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have MD, PharmD, or PhD with 5 or more years prior industry experience.
  • Requires a strong desire to drive strategic development, lead a collaborative team, and immerse himself/herself in a variety of new assignments.
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills essential
  • Ability to effectively and confidently interact with all levels of staff and clients essential
  • Must be able to present yourself, the agency, and your recommendations in an articulate, dynamic, and professional manner.

$165,000 - $185,000
