Specifically, areas of responsibility will include:

For the Development Intern:

· Assist with assigned outreach initiatives

· Support record keeping as assigned

· Assist with special projects to help fulfill development goals

For the Communications Intern:

· Take photos and create videos.

· Write articles for School magazine and website.

· Assist with annual refresh of website.

· Proofread and copyedit documents.

· Index and organize photos and publications from the past year.

· Draft social media content.

For the School of Public Service Intern:

· Support record keeping as assigned.

· Assist with small-group trips and taking attendance. 

· Participate in family-style lunches. 

· Take photos and create videos; draft social media copy.

· Interact with and engage students. 

· Assist with preparations for the summer program. 

· Format, collect and organize documents; create students’ curricular binders. 

· Prepare for “Move-In” and “Move-Out” days. 

· Organize and host special on-campus events including, but not limited to, the Scavenger Hunt, Ice Cream Social, SPS Olympics, and the Talent Show. 

· Research current restaurant and shop prices in the local area. 

· Activate student credit cards. 

· Index and organize medical forms and curricular documents.

· The commitment to work 9am-4pm on weekdays throughout the duration of the program, including several days in the week before the program begins and several days in the week following the program’s end-date.

· Assist with special projects and execution.

General Support requested of all interns:

· The commitment to work at least 3 consecutive weeks out of the 8 week assignment
