Job description

Job Summary

As a Product Structure & Pricing Operations Manager, you will lead a cross functional core team chartered with defining, implementing, and ensuring readiness to execute Quote to Cash (QTC) on new product offering in the NetApp commerce tools across all NetApp products. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within a collaborative team environment, managing multiple work streams, identifying risk, and implementing action plans to enable successful execution of the business requirements & strategy to meet launch expectations.

Job Requirements
  • Min 8+ years of experience in program management and/or related technical role.
  • Leading a cross functional core team chartered with the definition of & readiness to execute Quote to Cash functions on all NetApp products. This includes product structures & pricing definition, tool setup, business process development, PSRR execution, project schedule & risk management, content governance, and clear communication with business and content stakeholders.
  • Representing the Commerce team in the Product Life Cycle (PLC) core team process from concept to EOS. Including understanding program goals, requirements, and development and communication of schedule, risk management, and impacts to the PLC Core teams and program reviews.
  • Assess, analyze, consolidate, and communicate project status and risks clearly and succinctly to management, calling out key issues and presenting options for resolution to the cross-functional executive teams.
  • Apply both tactical and long-range vision to assign relative values and priorities within the context of the product portfolio; evaluating requirements against strategic objectives to prioritize investment and identify low performing offers.
  • Lead our Executive PRC process including working with Executives to schedule reviews, provide meeting documentation, issue resolution, and governance to meet our Sox Compliance requirements.
  • Understand, develop, enhance, mentor others in the use of key operational processes & tools that directly impact quote to cash and the PSRR/PRC activities.

  • Strong working knowledge of the Quote to Cash, Product lifecycle, and end-to-end support processes.
  • Ability to integrate feedback and to prove their adaptability to quickly changing contexts and work environments.
  • Strong analytical skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process multiple streams of information into actionable plans.
Education
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science, a Masters degree or PhD or equivalent experience.
