Summary of the Process Technician role

Responsible for the startup, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of the injection molding presses, all auxiliary

equipment and all secondary production equipment while ensuring that safety and quality are the prime

initiatives. Ensure all machines run at optimum cycles. Document process settings, process changes, water

diagrams or anything that may be pertinent to aid in future set ups and production runs.


Activities

โ€ข Responsible for the setup, startup, diagnosis and trouble-shooting of the injection molding presses,

all auxiliary equipment and all secondary production equipment while ensuring that safety and

quality are the prime initiatives.

โ€ข Document process settings, process changes, water diagrams or anything that may be pertinent to

aid in future set ups and production runs.

โ€ข Ensure all quality attribute inspections are completed on a timely basis (visual/dimensional) and

correct any non-conformances or machine malfunctions immediately. Inform quality of non[1]conformance

โ€ข Promoting adjustments on the process to have ensure efficiency and quality;


Requirements of the Process Technician

โ€ข Minimum five (5) years of injection molding experience, or as a Process Technician.

โ€ข Good knowledge of plastics, PVC, materials/resins,

โ€ข Injection Molds Knowledge,

โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent is required, a certificate of training beyond high school is

preferred.
