Job description

Job Title: Medical Assembler

Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company

Duration: 5-Month Contract

Location: Grand Rapids, MI 49504

Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM)

Description:

  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies, modules, cables, and medical devices.
  • Follow work instructions, diagrams, schematics, and process flow sheets to complete assembly tasks.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and assembly equipment safely and accurately.
  • Perform continuity checks, quality inspections, and product testing according to manufacturing standards.
  • Rework, modify, disassemble, and reassemble products as required, including prototype builds.
  • Operate or assist with semi-automatic production equipment and report equipment issues.
  • Support packaging, shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling activities when needed.
  • Complete production documentation while maintaining quality and safety standards.
