Job description

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Compounding Associate is responsible for the movement of products (materials, components) for Production. Also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Responsibilities:
  • Adheres to existing corporate policies and procedures in the production department, including Quality, Safety, cGMP's, and Good Housekeeping guidelines.
  • Double check the ingredients name and ingredients code number of the transported raw materials matches the manufacturing batch record.
  • All transported drums must be clean the top drum using a clean rag with 70% alcohol or approve sanitizer before weighing.
  • Able to efficiently set up and operate all equipment within the assigned department.
  • Follows all batch tickets instructions and steps to produce a high-quality product. Accurately complete all paperwork, neatly and correctly.
  • Meets or exceeds daily goals set by supervisor within the assigned department.
  • Associate has demonstrated the ability to train Trainee's on best practice.
  • Maintain, clean and orderly work area. May include cleaning machines, breakdown of machine, and cleaning areas around workstation.
  • Displays a positive attitude, teamwork.
  • Able to follow directions and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional attendance and punctuality.
  • Willingness to assist in other areas, as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
  • Must be able to perform Basic math skills.
  • Prior bulk material handling experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated attention to Quality and Safety.
  • Associate has been in the position for a minimum of 1 years (or equivalent experience).
  • Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment.

Role's Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
  • Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment.
