What You'll Do

As an Electrical Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced electrical professionals while learning the fundamentals of residential electrical service, repair, and installation.

You will:

  • Assist with residential electrical service calls, repairs, maintenance, and installations
  • Learn the basics of residential electrical systems, wiring, circuits, panels, lighting, outlets, switches, and other components
  • Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues
  • Learn how to safely use electrical hand tools, power tools, meters, and testing equipment
  • Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for service and installation work
  • Learn proper electrical repair and installation procedures
  • Follow applicable safety requirements, company procedures, and electrical codes
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Protect customers' homes and property while performing work
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners
  • Learn how to explain electrical findings and solutions to customers
  • Assist with accurate job documentation using ServiceTitan or similar software
  • Maintain tools, materials, equipment, and company vehicles
  • Apply coaching and feedback as you develop your skills
  • Represent Mister Sparky with professionalism, reliability, integrity, and pride
