OverviewPressure Equipment Compliance Inspector (Trainee)

Pressure Equipment Compliance Inspector (Trainee) Salary: $70,000-$80,000 + Full Benefits + Company Vehicle Training provided to earn Massachusetts Certificate of Competency & National Board "A" Endorsement

Our client is hiring a Pressure Equipment Compliance Inspector to support customers throughout Central Pennsylvania. This fulltime, permanent role includes excellent benefits, paid time off, and a companyprovided vehicle. Candidates with backgrounds in boilers, pressure vessels, welding, NDT/NDI, or Navy nuclear operations are ideal for this position.

What You'll Do

You will conduct fieldbased inspections ensuring the quality, safety, and code compliance of pressure equipment during fabrication, erection, and repair. Your work supports the earliest stages of the equipment lifecycle and is essential to Massachusetts' manufacturing, biotech, and energy sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and accepting job packages

  • Performing inprocess inspections

  • Monitoring contractor qualitycontrol systems

  • Witnessing hydrostatic tests

  • Reviewing and signing required documentation
