These instructors often have experience working as medical assistants themselves and hold relevant certifications or degrees. Their goal is to prepare students for entry-level positions in healthcare settings and help them pass certification exams.

What do you need to be a medical assisting instructor?

To become a medical assisting instructor, you typically need to have a medical assisting certification or credential, such as CMA (Certified Medical Assistant), along with relevant work experience in medical assisting.
