This is a Remote Role
The Role:
Faculty is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, supporting student success, maintaining subject matter expertise, and contributing to the development and continuous improvement of academic programs. This role involves teaching, curriculum review/enhancement, adjunct faculty training/development, and student mentoring to ensure a rigorous and effective learning experience. This position is remote and operates on a flexible schedule based on business and training needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Instructional Support:
    • Lead instruction for live cohorts and B2B projects
    • Provide quality assurance
    • Monitor, track and report on custom cohorts
  • Student Support:
    • Serve as a substitute instructor and provide class coverage as needed
    • Resolve student complaints and implement corrective actions
    • Support ADA accommodations
  • Faculty Training and Development:
    • Create onboarding training materials for new adjunct faculty
    • Create training materials and deliver ongoing training to faculty
    • Review/update course materials in coordination with curriculum team
Experience You will Need:
  • Current and valid AAPC Instructor certification, plus core (e.g., CPC, CPMA, COC)
  • Prior teaching experience in corporate training or adult education required
  • 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience leading, mentoring, coaching, or evaluating instructors, educators, or faculty preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency
  • Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable feedback
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and navigate issues involving faculty, students, systems, and operations
