Job description

Overview
Whether you're based in a high-volume hub or a specialized neighborhood clinic, your role is the engine that keeps patient care moving. Here is what you can expect across our Washington locations:
  • Clinical Patient Care: Lead the rooming process by capturing accurate vitals, updating patient histories, and prepping charts to ensure providers have everything they need before stepping into the room.
  • Procedural Support: Administer vaccinations and injections (including COVID/Flu and back-to-school series), perform venipuncture/phlebotomy, and assist with minor in-office procedures.
  • Lab Management: Handle on-site lab tasks including blood draws, urine dips, and processing samples, while maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked exam environment.
  • Comprehensive Chart Prep: "Scrub" daily schedules to identify and close care gaps, such as outstanding A1Cs, mammograms, or imaging, ensuring a proactive approach to patient health.
  • Clinical Administration: Manage the "back-office" workflow by processing referrals, securing prior authorizations, and handling pharmacy refill requests to ensure continuity of care.
  • Patient Navigation: Serve as the primary point of communication for patients, managing follow-up calls, answering clinical questions via the MA line, and coordinating complex scheduling.
  • Provider Partnership: Work in a 1:1 or 1:1.5 ratio with clinicians to manage patient flow, ensuring quality of care remains the priority over high-volume productivity.
