Job description: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our clinical care team, providing both direct patient care and essential administrative support to ensure smooth, efficient operations.

Clinical Duties (Patient Care):

  • Patient Intake:Greet patients, escort them to exam rooms, interview them for the reason for their visit, and take accurate medical histories.
  • Vitals & Measurements:Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, and height.
  • Exam Assistance:Assist physicians or nurses during examinations and procedures.
  • Clinical Procedures:Prepare and administer medications and injections under supervision.
  • Patient Education:Educate patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and follow-up care as directed by the provider.
  • EHR Management:Accurately update and maintain patient records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
