  • Prepare examination and treatment areas and maintain appropriate medical supplies and equipment.
  • Monitor medical supplies and communicate inventory needs to the appropriate team member.
  • Follow infection-control procedures, universal precautions, and applicable safety standards.
  • Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and follow established emergency procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, therapists, behavioral health staff, and other members of the treatment team.

  • At least 1 year of Medical Assistant or related clinical healthcare experience preferred.
  • Behavioral health, substance use treatment, residential treatment, psychiatric, or co-occurring treatment experience is a plus.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Ability to recognize changes in a client's medical condition and appropriately escalate concerns.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Comfortable working with individuals who may have complex medical, behavioral health, or substance use needs.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or fast-paced situations.
  • Must successfully meet all applicable background screening and employment requirements.
