Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine is looking for a full-time Clinical Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This position is an integral part of our team and vital to helping us create a smooth and personal experience for each of our patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate they are able to contribute to, engage, and work well in a close-knit team atmosphere. Every member of our staff plays a critical role in care operations and therefore must be able to assume ownership of their responsibilities. Applicant must be mature, self-directed, well organized, thorough, well spoken, and a quick learner. We're looking for someone with a warm, calm personality that presents professionally to our patients.
This is a full time 40 hours a week position at the Sandy Springs office from approximately 7:00am - 3:30pm plus rotating weekend and holidays from 7:00 to approximately 12:00pm.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing support to clinical staff to ensure smooth flow of information, routine clinical procedural preparedness, set-up, continuity, and communication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
โ€ข Checks and records vital signs
โ€ข Administers injections
โ€ข Performs blood draw procedures
โ€ข Accurately labels blood/urine samples
โ€ข Ensures proper amount of blood/urine is taken/obtained
โ€ข Processes labs and submits requisitions
โ€ข Enters labs into the patient's EMR chart
โ€ข Calls patients with lab results and answers questions as needed
โ€ข Assists with nursing staff with call backs
โ€ข Assists in the performance of ultrasound scans
โ€ข Assists with clinical procedures and set-up
โ€ข Enter patient insurance information into system
โ€ข Submits patient prescription orders to pharmacy
โ€ข Schedules appointments
โ€ข Maintains patient flow throughout the office
โ€ข Opens, cleans, and closes exam rooms and bathrooms
โ€ข Orders supplies and stocking exam rooms and bathrooms
โ€ข Cleans and sterilizes equipment and updates maintenance log
โ€ข Logs and scans consent forms and documents
โ€ข Prints medical records as needed
โ€ข Enters, changes, and updates diagnosis codes when needed
โ€ข Works on other related projects as needed
โ€ข Provides back up support to other areas as needed
Requirements
โ€ข High School Diploma
โ€ข Some vocational training preferred
โ€ข Medical Assistant certification-recommended
โ€ข 2 plus years' experience in Clinical Medical Assistant position
