Job description

Job Description:

Immediate opening for experienced Certified Medical Assistant with a large established Primary Care/Occupational Health practice in Southeastern Massachusetts. Responsibilities include hands on clinical along with advanced administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate must be a team player with a minimum of 1 year of experience with preferred experience in Primary Care and/or Occupational Health.

This Medical Assistant will work alongside a Nurse Practitioner who will be seeing patients for Primary Care, Acute Care and Occupational Health Services. The hours for this position are Monday and Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm and Tuesday thru Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm. Hours can change daily based on patient volume. 

Education/Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant Certificate (required)
  • Experience with EMR (Athena preferred, but will train)
  • Phlebotomy experience (required)

Other Requirements:

  • Preferred experience in Primary Care
  • Preferred experience in Occupational Health
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills

Required experience:

  • Certified Medical Assistant: 1+ years
  • Phlebotomy: 1+ years

Required license or certification:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required
  • CPR certified required
