Job description

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting nursing staff and providers with day-to-day operations in association with direct and indirect care of patients in the clinic.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)

  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment
  • Complete all necessary documentation in patients' medical records in accordance with the clinic's charting policy
  • Maintain and utilize effective communication with patients, coworkers and visitors
  • Demonstrate responsibility for professionalism growth and development
  • Actively participate in continuous quality improvements, staff meetings, and education programs

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • BLS certification or obtain upon hire
  • Experience in medical setting preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant Certification
  • High School or GED preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
