About the Role:
CardioClinic in Katy, TX is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic cardiology team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives while growing your career in a specialized and rewarding medical environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist cardiologists and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures
  • Perform EKGs, vital signs, and other diagnostic screenings as directed
  • Prepare and room patients, documenting medical histories and chief complaints
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR)
  • Place heart monitors 
  • Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and compliant with clinical standards
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant diploma or certification (CMA/RMA) preferred
  • Prior experience in a clinical or medical office setting preferred
  • Experience with EKGs and cardiac monitoring is a strong plus
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • BLS/CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
