Job description

We are looking for a Payroll Admin Assistant for a top company at their Denver, CO offices!
  • Hourly pay rate: $30-40/hr+ based on experience
Responsibilities:
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming payroll mail.
  • Prepare and send outgoing payroll correspondence.
  • Receive, log, and distribute wage garnishment orders and other payroll notices.
  • Assist with processing and maintaining wage garnishment paperwork.
  • File payroll documents and maintain organized payroll records.
  • Scan and upload payroll documents into electronic filing systems.
  • Enter employee information and payroll data into the payroll system.
  • Review timesheets and supporting documents for completeness.
  • Answer routine payroll phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate payroll staff.
  • Assist employees with basic payroll questions, such as paycheck distribution and direct deposit forms.
  • Prepare payroll reports, copies, and other documents as requested.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information.
  • Assist payroll team with processing weekly, biweekly of semi monthly payrolls
  • Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ year experience within admin and/or payroll
  • Detail oriented. organized
  • Professionalism in a corporate environment
  • Pleasant attitude, quick learner & able to follow specific directions
