Community Services Manager

What You'll DoLeadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and support Direct Support Professionals throughout Clark and Scott Counties.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and staff development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and person-centered support.
  • Ensure employees maintain required certifications and complete all mandatory training. 

Program & Service Excellence
  • Oversee service delivery and ensure support plans are implemented effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and maintain individualized goals.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure services are delivered with dignity, respect, and quality.
  • Help individuals build community connections and access meaningful opportunities. 

Compliance & Operations
  • Maintain documentation and records in accordance with Medicaid, CARF, FSSA, DRS, and agency requirements.
  • Monitor program performance, billing, productivity, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, best practices, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate client meetings, reviews, and service planning activities. 

Working Leadership
  • Serve as a hands-on leader by providing direct support and billable services when needed.
  • Respond to client and staffing emergencies as necessary.
  • Represent New Hope Services in the community through outreach and engagement activities. 

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation. 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory or management experience.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid Waiver services, CARF standards, and person-centered practices.
  • Experience leading teams in community-based human services programs.
