Job description

Robert Half is partnering with our client to identify a detail-oriented and customer-focused Client Services Representative to join their team in Honolulu. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping people, and can balance high-volume customer communication with accurate administrative processing.


The Client Services Representative will support clients throughout the enrollment and service lifecycle by handling inbound and outbound calls, responding to emails, processing documentation, and maintaining accurate records across multiple systems. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multiple databases while managing competing priorities and deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support clients through the enrollment and onboarding process.
  • Process documentation and electronic communications accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform high-volume data entry across multiple systems and databases.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries via phone and email.
  • Research, resolve, and document customer concerns within established service timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate resolutions and communicate client needs.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, community partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage fluctuating inbound and outbound call volumes while maintaining service quality.
  • Support outreach, education, and relationship-building efforts within the community.
  • Assist with escalated issues while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Meet established productivity, quality, and accuracy standards.
  • Perform additional administrative and customer support duties as assigned.


  • Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Previous customer service, client support, or customer relations experience.
  • Ability to handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with multiple applications and systems simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize competing requests and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter who works well independently with limited supervision.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF management.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within healthcare, healthcare administration, or human services environments.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, PHI handling, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid-related programs, healthcare benefits, or government-funded service programs.
  • Experience maintaining sensitive and confidential client information.
  • Previous experience supporting customers in Hawaii and understanding local customer service expectations.
  • Experience using CRM systems, databases, case management software, or other technology platforms.
  • Strong data integrity and accuracy-focused mindset.
  • Experience navigating multiple databases and systems simultaneously.
  • Comfort learning new technology and software applications.
  • Previous experience in compliance-driven or regulated environments.
