Reporting to Media Finance Supervisor, the Media Finance Analyst position is essential to the day-to-day function of the Media Finance group and requires an individual that has the ability to prioritize while thriving in a team-based, fast paced and detail-oriented environment. A successful Billing Analyst is resourceful and demonstrates the initiative to participate beyond what is required. Responsible for processing network, cable, syndication, local TV and digital invoices for client payment and will work with the media investment team on a daily basis to clear discrepancies, ensuring station invoices are cleared for payment prior to deadlines. This position will also be responsible for creating both draft bills and live client invoices, compiling the billing package for review and conducting initial reviews of the final package.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Entry and processing of television, radio, cable and digital invoices in the MediaOcean/Prisma, Buying and Billing system, both manually and electronically.
  • Manage the invoice approval process, which includes validating, investigating, and resolving discrepancies, working closely with the investment teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Building relationships with vendors, responding to inquiries, requesting missing invoices, along with review of station statements to ensure all invoices are processed.
  • Assist with pulling of invoicing for internal and client audits.
  • Processing of credits memos during posting periods.
  • Electronic and hard copy file management.
  • Create and analyze client billing, payables and media/open items reports from internal sources.
  • Generation of draft bills to be sent to teams for review and approval based on client billing schedule.
  • Generation of client invoices for media campaigns on a monthly basis
  • Prepare accurate and timely estimate and reconciliation billing for all client media activity, establishing clear and manageable timelines.
  • Review and Prepare client billing packet, including cover memo, ensuring accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • Self-starter with proven ability to drive projects from start to finish in a timely manner
  • Possess a strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with flexibility
  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to present in a clear and actionable way
  • A collaborative team player who can work independently and as part of a matrix structure
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Experience & Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/Finance, Business or related field preferred
  • Proficient in excel, including vlookups and pivot tables.
  • 2 years previous experience, preferably in media or agency environment, or A/P experience
  • Technologically inclined; previous experience with MediaOcean or Prisma desired.

$55,000 - $64,000 a year
Salary and Benefits
Actual base salary is determined upon factors such as experience, qualifications, training, certifications, and internal equity. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Base salary is part of a total rewards package that includes highly competitive benefits like generous medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, commuter benefits, disability and life insurance coverage, 401(k) matching, up to 14 holidays per year, a "Do Good Day," and unlimited PTO.

In-Office Work Schedule
