The Publicis Media Exchange activates across all local media channels too, including Television, Radio, Streaming Audio, and Digital Video (OTT/CTV/VOD).

Our Negotiator roles are the critical thread connecting the marketplace to client goals and outcomes. In this role your passion for learning marketplace pricing and dynamics will be pivotal to our success.

Responsibilities

As a Negotiator, you will:

    • Build schedules for medium ranked and/or medium complexity markets based on client guidelines for Local Video and Audio.
    • Work closely with Supervisor to understand key client initiatives and timelines to proactively prioritize and manage workload.
    • Collaborate with Supervisor to leverage PMX benchmarks within Investment of Local video and audio campaigns.
    • Work with Supervisor to adhere to the most updated client buying guidelines for assigned clients. 
    • Have a sound understanding of forecasting and various measurement methodologies
    • Input and optimize any sports and special campaigns previously negotiated for assigned clients and markets by the Specialist Team, communicate with the team any issues. 
    • Integrate PMX partner deals within schedules for Local Video and Audio.
    • Monitor and optimize delivery of Local Video and Audio investments within flight when current data is available.
    • Inform Client Leads of any issues with a PMX partner's ability to deliver against any deal KPIs and excessive makegoods.
    • Report and monitor preemption and makegood levels with Client Leads and Analysts, and work with sellers to drive improvement.
    • Drive added value and ensure stations are adhering to delivery standards.
    • Provide key data to marketplace behaviors throughout the year utilizing the Hotsheet for nuances and input.
    • Monitor and inform Client Leads of marketplace pricing updates.
    • Advocate for multicultural & diversity inclusion through Investments. Champion the 4As Fair Play Charter and all other diversity and inclusion initiatives.
    • Conduct all post buy performance tasks including but not limited to override input and rationale documentation, final delivery reporting, securing and tracking owed ADU/UDW.
Qualifications

This could be a great opportunity for you if you have 3+ years of experience negotiating Local Video and Audio Investment and are great with people, are approachable, collaborative, responsible and accountable; If you exhibit sharp attention to detail and strong math skills; And If you have intermediate knowledge of Excel and are willing to learn new systems and platforms.

 Compensation Range: USD $60,800.00 - USD $93,600.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
