Job description

Social Media amp; Content Specialist

Position Summary:

Trillium is looking for a Social Media amp; Content Specialist to join our team. If you love great storytelling, creating engaging content, and bringing brands to life online, this role is for you. You'll help capture and share the people, places, products, and experiences that make Trillium unique while managing our day to day social media presence and supporting digital marketing efforts across all locations.

This role blends hands-on, high-quality content production, active community management, and graphic design to ensure our brand is dynamically represented across all channels. The ideal candidate is a highly creative, organized visual storyteller who can independently manage a multi channel content calendar, thrive in a fast paced, high volume hospitality environment, and maintain our digital storefronts with precision.

This position is based at our Canton location, with regular travel to other Trillium locations required. Because this role is responsible for capturing live events, special releases, and hospitality experiences, occasional evening and weekend availability is required.

Job Duties amp; Responsibilities

  • Independently execute the social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent and engaging publishing schedule
  • Lead the photography and video content capture across all Trillium locations, producing elevated short-form video (Reels/TikToks) and high-quality imagery.
  • Write highly engaging and on-brand copy tailored to different platforms and digital channels.
  • Actively monitor social media trends, tools, and audio, quickly translating them into relevant content ideas for the food amp; beverage and hospitality space.
  • Oversee day-to-day social engagement, including responding to comments, managing direct messages, and building relationships with our community and relevant accounts.
  • Design clean, on-brand social graphics, digital assets, and temporary in-store/taproom signage.
  • Produce signage, sell sheets, and other marketing and educational materials to support both on-site and wholesale sales efforts for new products.
  • Keep the Trillium website meticulously updated, including timely execution of product drops, menu updates, and location details.
  • Support the Marketing Manager to ensure daily content seamlessly supports larger campaigns, product launches, and seasonal programming.

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications amp; Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • 3โ€“4 years of professional experience dedicated to social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
  • Experience in hospitality, food amp; beverage, craft beverage, or lifestyle brands is highly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills amp; Abilities
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality photography and short-form video (TikTok/Reels) editing capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook algorithms, features, and audience behaviors.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience using Shopify or similar website CMS tools for updates and basic maintenance preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of managing multiple project timelines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively execute ideas in a fast-paced environment.
