MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT

Promote, market, and facilitate the overall sale of products of the bank.ย  Contribute to the bank?s growth by the effective sale of bank services to new and existing customers with emphasis on courteous and professional service

This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the FLSA.

OVERVIEW

Responsible for creating, administering, and optimizing high-impact content across all digital platforms to grow audience engagement, strengthen brand awareness, and foster a sense of community.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Campaign Management & Social Strategy

Develop and execute organic and paid social media content to increase visibility and engagement across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.

Utilize analytics tools to interpret campaign performance and metrics, providing insights into traffic, demographics, and conversion effectiveness.

Manage paid campaign setups, launches, and A/B testing, incorporating automation and AI tools to maximize efficiency.

Act as a subject matter expert by staying current on social media trends, algorithm changes, and competitor activities.

Monitor and professionally respond to social media inquiries and online reviews to maintain a positive brand image and reputation.

Content Creation & Brand Voice

Create high-quality graphics, videos, and written posts that align with the bank?s voice and local values.

Develop content calendars and strategies designed to drive traffic and improve engagement while maintaining consistent messaging.

Tailor content to suit the nuances of each platform while ensuring a unified brand identity.

Draft advertising and content specifically targeted to our local branches and community.

Analytics & ROI

Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and ROI of social media and digital marketing initiatives.

Provide regular reports on trends and metrics, offering clear insights to refine future strategies.

Marketing Operations

Manage marketing collateral and promotional items, ensuring all branches are fully stocked and supported.

Draft outbound emails, manage distribution lists, and ensure strict compliance with opt-out regulations.

Manage and update content for digital signs and in-branch displays.

Attend all meetings and complete all training required to ensure regulatory compliance.

Comply with all applicable Federal and State regulations and guidance associated with the performance of your job function.

Comply with all applicable BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures associated with the performance of your job function, including participation in required training and identifications of suspicious activity.

Responsible for making suggestions to improve branch/departmental operations and overall bank.

Perform other duties and assignments within the bank at Management?s request; accept periodic cross-training, works in other branches if needed.
