Job Description – Social Media Specialist
We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and dynamic environment for young learners. As a Social Media Specialist, you will play a key role in promoting Hide and Seek Preschool LLC by creating engaging content, showcasing our classrooms and events, and strengthening communication with current and prospective families. Responsibilities
  • Create and manage engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos of classroom activities, special events, and learning experiences while following school privacy policies.
  • Develop weekly and monthly social media content calendars.
  • Write creative captions that highlight our curriculum, Montessori environment, and children's learning experiences.
  • Design flyers, graphics, newsletters, and promotional materials for school events and enrollment.
  • Promote school programs, open houses, field trips, family events, and community partnerships.
  • Monitor social media accounts by responding professionally to comments and messages as directed.
  • Maintain consistent school branding across all digital platforms.
  • Work closely with the Director and teaching staff to gather classroom updates and success stories.
  • Assist with website updates and other marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Attend family events, program activities, and staff meetings when requested.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all school policies regarding children's photos and information.
Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Early Childhood Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience managing business social media accounts (1–2 years preferred).
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar graphic design software preferred.
  • Strong photography and video editing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with staff.
