Your role and responsibilities:

Working as a Product Manager you will be a key member of the product management team for Motion NEMA Motors, with local (US) responsibility for the Material Movement & Specialty Solutions Business Line. This role requires a customer-focused and collaborative person able to drive results with quality and speed.

In this role, you will be accountable to drive profitable growth for the business by developing it through all life cycle phases, according to the market needs, product group strategy and business targets.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Own regional product strategy and offering roadmap, defining technical specifications and growth plans aligned to market needs.
  • Lead product lifecycle management, tracking performance, driving cost/upgrade actions, and making decisions on portfolio evolution and end-of-life.
  • Serve as the technical liaison between local markets and cross-functional teams, supporting development stage gates, localization, and successful product launches/ramp-up.
  • Drive portfolio competitiveness and innovation by analyzing customer needs and market trends, prioritizing development, defining targets (technical, cost, price), and executing go-to-market and communication strategies.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years OR Associate's degree and 12 years of work experience in a complex industrial manufacturing business environment required.
  • Technical, Sales, and Go-To-Market knowledge of AC Motors and Applications - Preferred.
  • Progressive experience in product management and customer relationship management.
  • Proven track record of cross functional collaboration, excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic mindset and passion to drive business results.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
