Automation Engineer III - High-Speed Packaging
12 month contract - Conversion potential
Pay: 45.00-50.00 per hour doe
Benefits: Medical, Dental at 30 days, (Holiday, PTO 401K matching at 6 months)
We are seeking an Automation Engineer III - High-Speed Packaging with strong technical depth in high-speed packaging and a solid controls/automation background to support 24/7 medical device manufacturing operations in Fort Worth North, TX. The ideal candidate brings 5-10 years of hands-on experience in automated manufacturing environments and excels at optimizing equipment performance, integrating new technology, and leading complex technical projects in a regulated setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in high-speed packaging equipment, including specification, procurement, installation, and validation.
  • Strong automation and controls background with proficiency in PLC, HMI, SCADA, and vision system programming.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate machines and automation systems into existing production lines.
  • Experience working within regulated industries-medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar (cGMP experience strongly preferred).
  • Skilled in troubleshooting equipment and process control systems, driving continuous improvement, and enhancing equipment reliability.
  • Hands-on experience leading small capital projects, from concept through commissioning and validation.
  • Ability to collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues and drive efficiency improvements
