About the Role
The General Manager leads all aspects of branch operations, including P&L performance, sales growth, operational excellence, and team leadership. This role is accountable for executing strategic initiatives, building high-performing teams, and delivering sustainable business results. The primary focus is standing up a new high-speed door shop operation adjacent to an existing site, including a ~200,000 sq ft facility build-out, equipment installation, hiring ~100 employees, and launching full-scale production operations.

Primary: Greenfield Build
Secondary: Launch and Stabilization
This is not a maintenance or turnaround role. It is a build → launch → stabilize leadership role.
What You'll Do
Business & Results Leadership
• Own full P&L performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial results
• Drive strong performance across safety, sales, operations, and customer service
• Communicate performance goals and results across all levels of the branch
Strategic & Operational Excellence
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and branch transformation efforts
• Develop and execute a Branch Improvement Plan (SWOT-based)
• Align workflows, priorities, and execution across operations
Sales & Market Growth
• Drive organic sales growth through effective sales planning
• Maintain deep understanding of market trends and competition
• Strengthen customer relationships through service excellence
People Leadership & Development
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of managers overseeing 15-150 employees
• Own hiring, workforce planning, and succession development
• Build a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance
• Provide coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities
What You Bring
• Proven leadership experience with P&L accountability in distribution, manufacturing, or related industries
