The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, designing, and validating the complete power architecture for our rack-scale AI data center product. This role is crucial for maximizing power efficiency, scalability, and system performance throughout the entire power delivery path, from the rack level all the way to the chip.

What You'll Do Here
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including silicon, system, thermal, mechanical, and JDM partners, to bring innovative power solutions from concept to production

  • Develop power specifications, power management strategy, and accurate power estimation models

  • Implement voltage regulator designs that meet the silicon and system-level specifications

  • Validated complex voltage regulator designs in the lab during initial silicon bring-up. Performed rigorous workload testing and measurement to confirm stable, clean power delivery within specified tolerances, ensuring system stability and performance

  • Ensure designs adhere to relevant industry standards and regulations, including electrical safety and thermal management

  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to other engineers during board and system integration

Who You Are
  • 10โ€“15 years in power design

  • In-depth experience working with highโ€‘power architecture topologies (buck DCโ€‘DC converters, multiโ€‘phase VRMs, vertical delivery)

  • Proficiency with modeling tools for transient analysis (Simplis, HSPICE), and CAD tools for schematic entry and layout (Allegro)

  • Demonstrated ability in lab bringโ€‘up, debug techniques, design validation, and use of common lab equipment

  • Proven track record for delivering shipped products

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent team player

  • Familiarity with ORV3 HPR, VHDC, and data center power delivery is a plus

  • Knowledge of dynamic workload management is a plus

  • This position requires both design work and lab work
