Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and manage mechanical engineers, fostering skill growth, providing feedback, and building a collaborative environment. Project Oversight: Execute and oversee multiple engineering projects by managing timelines, resources, and ensuring delivery. Technical Review and Problem Solving: Direct technical activities, review designs, ensure technical accuracy, improve processes, and solve complex technical challenges. Cross- Functional leadership: Liaise with other departments and external partners to communicate needs, progress, and technical information. Process and Quality refinement: Implement and refine development, testing, and development processes, focusing on efficiency, quality, and sustainability. Resource Planning: Plan resource requirements, inter-team assignments, and analyze technology trends to complete product development projects. System Design Leadership: Lead the development of system requirement definitions to meet customer needs, regulatory requirements, and Hazard Analysis and Risk Management (HARA) mitigations tasks. Safety and Reliability leadership: Apply system requirements and design principals to oversee the analysis of system performance to ensure vehicle safety and reliability standards are met. Design Ownership: Own the assessment, design, and analysis of mechanical structures, cabin design, pneumatic systems, and electrical component placement and routings.
