Position: Mechanical Drafter

Department: Mechanical Engineering

Direct Report To: Engineering Manager

PowerBuilt is a leading provider of turn-key material handling solutions, specializing in lift assist, conveyor systems, controls, and pre-engineered equipment. Our clients include some of the largest automotive, appliance, aerospace, and heavy truck manufacturers across North America. As we continue to expand, we are seeking talented individuals to join our team and contribute to our ongoing growth and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Create fabrication & assembly prints from engineering designs
  • Communicate technical details with engineers and fabricators
  • Develop and configure standard components in the SolidWorks library

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience with SolidWorks mechanical drafting experience
  • Solid understanding of basic manufacturing processes, i.e. milling, lathing, welding
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel)
  • Experience with PDM software (preferred)
