Job description

Founded in 1989, Batca Fitness Systems (www.batcafitness.com) designs and engineers world class strength equipment built for modern fitness spaces and physical therapy environments. Our products combine commercial grade performance, refined aesthetics, and space efficient design—trusted in fitness studios, multifamily communities, corporate wellness centers, hospitality properties, PT clinics, and homes worldwide.

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a hands-on role in the design, development, and continuous improvement of commercial fitness equipment. You'll work on a diverse range of projects spanning product design, prototyping, manufacturing, and quality improvement, with the opportunity to see your ideas progress from concept to production. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys learning new skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality results.


Product Design & Engineering

  • Use SolidWorks and SolidWorks Visualize to update existing products and create photorealistic renderings and interactive product images.
  • Assist with product development, prototype design, testing, and documentation.
  • Assemble and build product prototypes using hand and power tools.
  • Maintain accurate engineering records, documentation, and project files.

Product Content

  • Keep product renderings, specifications, and related information current as products and software evolve.
  • Help ensure our website maintains a professional, accurate, and consistent presentation.

Quality Control

  • Assist with inspections of incoming product shipments.
  • Identify quality concerns and prepare detailed inspection reports.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to document and resolve product issues.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Engineering Technology or a related field with minimum 5 years of experience or Bachelor's degree (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of SolidWorks experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
