The ideal candidate is responsible for providing mechanical designs that support the product development and product support goals of the organization. The role requires mechanical engineering technical knowledge plus the understanding of the mechanical design integrated with software design, mechanical design and systems engineering activities. Mechanical design solutions are to be developed against defined requirements and delivered in accordance with agreed schedules.
