Mechanical Engineer

Direct Hire/ Permanent Placement

Miami, FL (next to the Airport)

$80k – $150k Base (Jr,-Sr. roles), Hybrid schedule, Full benefits, 401k, etc.

Multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy with their hands in numerous fields and building types:

Healthcare, Commercial, Hi-Rise, Mixed-Use, Education, Hospitality, Residential, etc.

OVERVIEW

The Mechanical Engineer will work on preparing contract documents and specs for complex building systems. The ideal Candidate will be tasked with design, calculations, analysis, project management, and field/ construction coordination activities.

ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• HVAC design (airside, hydronic, steam) for a wide variety of multi-disciplinary project types

• Ductwork, piping, sizing, fan, pumps, air and water flow, SD, DD, CD

• Equipment sizing and calculations, load calculations, systems applications, Energy modeling

• Project Management

 

REQUIRED/ HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or similar

• AutoCAD, REVIT, Trane Trace or HAP or IES VE Energy Modeling software

• EIT or PE License
