Client:              Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration:         24 Months
Location:         Fargo, ND 58102
Shift:                1st Shift (Monday – Friday)

Job Description:

The Engineer Product II - Mechanical Systems is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing product design, testing, and analysis for projects of moderate scope. This role works within a team environment to develop engineering solutions, validate designs, and support cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform product design, testing, and analysis for mechanical systems
• Develop and evaluate design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input
• Create and execute test and validation plans
• Document engineering decisions, reports, and analysis data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain and manufacturing
• Apply standardization to improve product efficiency and cost
• Provide technical support to internal teams (marketing, quality, manufacturing)
• Analyze engineering problems and define specifications for solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field
• 2–3 years of experience in product engineering or design
• Experience with CAD tools and engineering systems
• Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits and systems
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and product design

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electro-mechanical automation or robotics
• Familiarity with enterprise engineering processes (EPDP, ETDP, ECAP)
• Experience working with competitor product analysis
• Exposure to instrumentation and testing environments

• GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
• Electrical troubleshooting and circuit analysis
