Job description

Rinvio is hiring a Mechanical Assembly Technician for hands-on industrial assembly work in Houston, Texas. This is a strong fit for mechanically inclined candidates with manufacturing, production, mechanical assembly, valve assembly, actuator assembly, warehouse, or tool-based work experience.


Pay: $20/hour

Location: Houston, TX

Schedule: Full-time manufacturing/production schedule; overtime may vary by workload

Type: Contract


Responsibilities:

- Build and assemble industrial mechanical products, valve-related components, actuators, accessories, and related assemblies using work instructions and production standards

- Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, gauges, and measuring equipment to complete accurate assembly work

- Review work orders, parts lists, drawings, assembly steps, and quality requirements before and during production

- Check parts and finished assemblies for cleanliness, proper fit, alignment, defects, labeling, and overall quality

- Support basic testing, packaging, staging, material movement, and other production tasks as needed

- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe while communicating production or quality issues to leads or supervisors


Requirements:

- Mechanical assembly, manufacturing, production, industrial assembly, warehouse, valve/actuator assembly, or hands-on mechanical experience preferred

- Comfort working with hand tools, power tools, gauges, fixtures, parts, and basic measuring equipment

- Ability to follow written instructions, work orders, safety rules, and quality procedures

- Able to stand, lift, bend, reach, and work safely in a manufacturing or assembly environment

- Reliable transportation to the Houston, TX area
