Responsibilities and Duties of our Machine Mechanic:

  • Run the machines as the operator including loading raw materials and moving finished product
  • Repair, maintain and troubleshoot machines
  • Perform preventative & corrective mechanical maintenance
  • Work within a team to achieve quality and production goals
  • Follow procedures such as for quality, safety, etc.
  • Other duties are assigned as required

Preferred Qualifications and Skills for our Machine Mechanic:

  • Assembles, installs, or replaces machine parts
  • Uses scales, tape measures, calipers, gauges, and microscopes
  • Reads drawings for making, modifying, or specification inspecting of parts
  • Completes maintenance and other logs accurately
  • 5S, root cause analysis & other methods
  • Operates various power tools
  • Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time (up to 12 hours a shift), sit repeatedly, and lift 50lbs
  • Be able to work independently with a high level of efficiency under minimal supervision
  • Electrical wiring experience, knowledge on PLCs, sensors, and other electrical components
