A Heavy Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing large diesel-powered vehicles and machinery, such as trucks, buses, construction equipment, and agricultural machines. Their work includes diagnosing mechanical problems, replacing faulty parts, and performing routine servicing to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Heavy Diesel Mechanics use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot engines, transmissions, and other critical systems. They often work in workshops, on job sites, or in the field, depending on the needs of their employer.
