Job description

We are committed to ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet to deliver exceptional service to our customers. As part of our growth, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Buffalo, NY. Position Overview: As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on our fleet of diesel trucks and trailers.

From routine inspections to complex engine diagnostics and repairs, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles. Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components of commercial vehicles and equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.

Conduct thorough inspections to identify any issues or potential problems. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Document all maintenance and repair work accurately and thoroughly. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding the status of repairs and maintenance tasks. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications: Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the transportation industry. Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related systems. Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.

Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills.
