Job Summary
Ensures the company's fusion equipment needs are met by performing service, maintenance, and minor repairs to ensure safety and reliability. Duties include inspecting and repairing mechanical components, documenting maintenance activities, applying safety labels, and completing work orders under supervision. Will assist with equipment refueling, supply management, and supports senior staff on complex projects, while reporting safety issues and upholding company standards.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
  • Maintains accurate records of basic maintenance and repairs performed on equipment.
  • Applies and maintains decals, safety warnings, and company ID stickers as needed.
  • Completes work orders under supervision for internal and external repairs.
  • Assists with minor repairs of mechanical equipment.
  • Supports maintenance of company vehicles.
  • Checks and refuels equipment as directed.
  • Assists senior mechanics with complex repair and maintenance projects.
  • Reports safety violations to supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the mechanical field preferred
  • Hydraulic, diesel, electrical, pneumatic experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in a related industry
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally

Environmental Job Requirements
  • Requires work outside in a warehouse yard setting and in a warehouse setting
  • Requires intermittent periods of physical activity, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment (may be heavy or awkward).
