Service Manager
Responsibilities
- Oversee scheduling and prioritization of all service work, including rush and routine jobs.
- Coordinate workflow across rewind, mechanical, machine, and support areas to meet deadlines and estimates.
- Monitor job progress, labor hours, and material usage to ensure alignment with quoted costs.
- Provide technical guidance on electric motor repair, pump repair, diagnostics, rewinding, and equipment servicing.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex repair issues and determining repair versus replacement recommendations.
- Review and support technical drawings, specifications, and repair procedures when needed.
- Supervise daily activities of shop personnel and service supervisors.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to shop employees.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in electric motor repair, rewinding, or industrial service environment.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC motors, rewinding processes, and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with machining, balancing, and testing equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a shop setting preferred.
- Skills in electrical wiring, schematic reading, motor repair, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with hand tools, winding machines, and blueprint reading.

Work Environment
Work hours are from 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime required. The role involves walking, standing, sitting, bending, driving, reading, and communicating in various environments. The shop can be dirty and is not climate controlled.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
