Job Summary
Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. This is a hands-on role responsible for receiving, shipping, inventory management, material handling, and order fulfillment activities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong multitasking abilities, and be comfortable working with warehouse technology and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments.
  • Load and unload outbound shipments while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage daily warehouse activity involving approximately 8-10 trucks per day, including both incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Put away materials into designated warehouse locations using established inventory procedures.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer or production orders for shipment.
  • Utilize RF (Radio Frequency) scanners to track inventory movements and maintain system accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle count activities.
  • Coordinate priorities effectively while balancing multiple tasks throughout the day.
  • Assist with handling increased shipment volumes during peak periods, including monthly spikes related to international shipments and customs processing.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including a sit-down forklift.
  • Transport materials between warehouse locations as needed using company vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or material handling experience.
  • Ability to effectively multitask and reprioritize work throughout the day.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email communication, calendar management, and general computer navigation.
  • Experience using RF scanners or similar inventory tracking systems.
  • Ability and willingness to operate a sit-down forklift.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to become insurable under company vehicle requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently after training while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
