Key to our strategy is delivering on MGF and MEC Svd process transformation which is guided by a strong, scalable, and efficient process and implemented on a cutting-edge Platform Operating Model. Now, we're seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead the Service Delivery Process transformation for Maersk Ground Freight and Maersk E- Commerce. Ensuring exceptional implementations and the quality of processes at the most cost-efficient level. Lead, innovate, and collaborate across teams to craft first-class technical solutions.

Purpose of the Role

Owns a portion of MEC taxonomy (driving standardization, operational and financial risk management, and scalability), drives productivity initiatives, and owns special projects. This role partners with various internal stakeholders to ensure adoption of standard, and quality of services delivery to customer that serves Maersk goals operationally and financially.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing assigned MEC taxonomy, process mapping, defining business policies and process controls
  • Responsible to review, discover, and drive development of productivity related initiatives
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for Product and Implementation teams
  • Creation, management and governance of standard process frameworks, e.g., customer implementation, carrier BAU activities
  • Coordinate with other GPLs when topic requires process expertise outside SVD
  • Leads relevant GRC assessments and Business Reviews for MEC
  • Partner with Platform and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure alignment, secure sign-off and optimize relevant processes. Identify opportunities for process automation to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls.
  • Partner with Platform teams to prioritize technology requirements, control enhancements, and scalable process design; act as process owner in change governance forums.
  • Define process performance and compliance metrics; monitor frontline adherence and drive adoption in collaboration with regional teams.
  • Represent frontline feedback in the product and delivery roadmap; support effective change management and transition of new processes and features.
  • Review won businesses for readiness before implementation is kicked off
  • Manage assigned health metrics and process standardization index performance for MEC
  • Drive assigned business improvement initiatives

What you bring?

  • Understanding of the business financials and company performance drivers and ability to apply to own scope. Required competency either through education or through previous work
  • Expertise in process mapping, redesign, risk assessment, and control frameworks.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making, problem solving and metrics definition capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management on all levels, concise communicator and expertise in cross-functional teamwork.
  • Proven track record in leading transformation and change initiatives.
  • Understanding of operational excellence/lean methodology approach
  • Experience in one or more of these areas: 1) Managing carriers; 2) Managing warehouse labelling operations; 3) Monitoring carrier performances; 4) Consulting experience; 5) Managing P&L of a parcel delivery business; 6) Operating a parcel delivery business; 7) Product management/Tech experience

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite 5 days a week)

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000*

*The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
